If you have the urge to be gay, lesbian, transgender or Bisexual, just fight it – Omokri

Reno Omokri, a former presidential aide has reacted to the death of renowned Kenyan writer Binavanga Wainaina.

The Kenyan author and LGBT activist, Kenneth Binyavanga Wainaina died on Tuesday after a brief illness his family confirmed.

Details about his death are still very sketchy. Binyavanga won the 2002 Caine Prize for African Writing for his short story “Discovering Home”.

However, Omokri in reaction to Wainaina’s death described it as sad by says its a “teachable moment for those who want to force the LGBT lifestyle down throats.”

In a tweet on Wednesday morning, Omokri wrote: Binyavanga Wainaina’s death is sad. But it is a teachable moment for those who want to force the LGBTQ lifestyle down our throats.

It is a risky lifestyle. It leaves you susceptible to HIV/AIDS. If you have those urges, FIGHT it. Don’t EMBRACE it.
