The development followed Fani-Kayode’s insinuation in a tweet about an alleged coup plan by the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar and top military generals that there is possible plan to scuttle the forthcoming general election or perpetrate a coup d’état, an offence that attracts the death penalty.
Information Nigeria had reported Fani-Kayode brought his DSS invitation to the notice of the public in a statement via Twitter on Monday morning.
The APC chieftain had said he would honour the invitation because he had nothing to fear, adding that he would continue to express his feelings as long as he has life in him.
