England and Real Madrid midfielder, Jude Bellingham has been crowned as the winner of the 2023 Kopa Trophy award.
The 20-year-old beat off competition from Bayern Munich forward and former England youth team-mate Jamal Musiala to win the honour.
The Kopa Trophy is given to the best young player under the age of 21, making Bellingham the first English player to win the award since its inception in 2018.
Bellingham’s fine form at Spanish giant club, Real Madrid, and at the international level has earned him the young player award.

He joined Madrid in a record deal worth £115m for a British player in 2023 and has bagged 13 goals in 13 appearances for the club in all competitions.
His fantastic form was apparent when he scored both goals during his side’s win against arch-rival club Barcelona on Sunday.
Past winners of the Kopa Trophy are  Paris Saint-Germain’s Kylian Mbappe(2018),  Bayern Munich’s Matthijs de Ligt (2019), and Barcelona duo, Pedri (2021) and Gavi (2022).
