President Muhammadu Buhari has congratulated the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Chairman, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, on the occasion of his 77th birthday today (Friday).
The president, in a statement by his spokesman, Femi Adesina, said he joined the family, friends and admirers of the APC national chairman in celebrating another year of good health and strength for a man, who he said has shown uncommon dedication to the peace, progress, stability and development of Nigeria.
President Buhari specifically commended Odigie-Oyegun’s patriotism, hard work and leadership in managing the affairs of the governing party throughout the period and in the aftermath of the historic 2015 general elections.
He affirmed that the APC chief’s dedication to noble causes and democratic ideals has endeared him to many Nigerians who will continue to draw inspiration from his legacies to offer their best for the country.
