Beauty pageant veteran, Miss Cross River-Isabella Ayuk, Wins MBGN 2012

Miss Cross-River, Isabella Agbor Ayuk, 25, has been crowned 2012 Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria.

She also won best traditional costume.

The 25th edition of the beauty pageant took place Saturday night at Best western homeville hotel, Benin, Edo state.

Miss Isabella, who is well experienced as regards beauty pageants, is a former Miss Nigeria contestant [2004], Ex Beauty Queen Of The South-South Nigeria [2007/2008], Miss Global Nigeria [2009/2010], and delegate Miss Global international (World) in Jamaica [2010].

Past MBGN contestants who spoke with NET (Nigerian Entertainment Today) say she had contested MBGN more than once before now, including in 2010. NET could not immediately confirm what stage she was eliminated.

The newly crowned Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria will be representing the Country in the Miss World pageant in Ordos, Inner Mongolia, People’s Republic of China which is scheduled to hold on the 15th of August, 2012.

Isabella walked away with a N3 million prize money, a brand new Toyota Corolla from the Edo State Government, N1m Cartier wrist watch from Polo and an all-expense paid trip to Mongolia by Lufthansa airline.

The first runner up, was Miss rivers Charles Granville. Miss rivers gets a chance to represent Nigeria at the Miss Universe beauty pageant.

The second runner-up went to Miss Abuja Ifeoma Umeokeke who went home with N1m and gifts and a chance to represent Nigeria at 2012 Miss Tourism International pageant.

Other winners were Miss Gombe, Antonnette Igebu, who was crowned Miss La Casera, Miss Select Pro went to Miss Kwara, Tomi Salami.

Miss Photogenic went to Miss Edo, Omobhude Omoye Mary, while Miss Amity was won by Onuoha Grace (Miss Taraba).
