Job description Project Engineer – FPSO

 The responsibilities of Project Engineer – FPSO will include but are not limited to the following,

Planning

  • Inputs to Field Development Program Planning
  • Assistance in Contracts Execution
  • Inputs in defining and planning resources.
  • Meet the set targets and milestones in project execution

Operations

Advertisement
  • Appraises Senior Project Coordinator about progress and concerns
  • Provides guidance & support for entire project team in achieving the milestone.
  • Liaise with other team members and share information.
  • Liaise with FPSO team on topsides modification design and construction.
  • Generate cost estimates and project budgets and raise Approval for Expenditure Requests (AFE’s).
  • Carry out design reviews and HAZOP’s as required
  • Follow up with Pipeline design and installation contractor.
  • Follow day to day activities in execution of contract report to Senior Project Coordinator

Administrative

  • Tracks Project Performance of the contractor and FPSO owners with respect to project activities and reports to PM.
  • Provide assistance to Project Costs and Planning for FPSO end.
  • Prepare Scope of Work for Senior Project Coordinator approval.
  • Improving the productivity and quality of the work executed by all parties.
  • Ensure HSEQ policy is adopted and followed by all parties.

 

Requirements Project Engineer – FPSO

 

  • MSc/BSc in engineering (such as Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Ocean & Subsea Engineering, preferred).
  • Ideally the candidate will be also a chartered Engineer (such as CEng MICE).
  • Minimum 15 years experience in the industry (preferably with practice of Oil & Gas industry for FPSO works).
  • Experience working as a Project Engineer with responsibilities including small team management and construction / fabrication site experience.
  • Sound knowledge of international design codes / standards.

 

Terms & Conditions Project Engineer – FPSO

 

  • Work Schedule – 6/2 weeks rotation
  • Initially 12 months (Option to extend).
  • For this position, preference will be given to Nigerian nationals. In case Expatriate candidate(s) are selected it is a prerequisite he/she is tasked to mentor and train a Nigerian understudy.
