Shange George definitely made herself known as one of the old stars still riding on the latest horse as her movie ‘FINDING GOODLUCK’ was premiered in Lagos last week at Terra Kulture, Victoria Island.
Fans and friends have been saying the story title really applies to her as an icon of the screen, and a good one to mention when it comes to Nollywood.
Indeed it was really a goodluck for the actress as the movie premiere rocked Lagos to the blast, and even the smallest organism could not disclaim the obvious. Society showbiz and big wigs were not excluded from the arena, and she made some impressions on them, mostly that she never left the screen, and she was only hovering for the best time to land.
Famous actors in attendance were Ini Edo, Kate Henshaw, Senator Daisy Danjuma, Inspector Oshodi Glover who represent IG, The Ibru Sisters, Desmond Elliot, Emem Isong, Monalisa Chinda, Chidi Mokeme, Rachel Oniga, Chico and Joy Ejiro. Others were Lillian Bach, Lepacious Bose, Chioma Chukwuka, Mr. Kool, Tonto Dike, Mr. Raw Nwanne, Steph Nora Okere, Anita Hogan, Yemi Sax, Darlene Benson among others.
The atmosphere was charged with fashion parade and the electrifying performance by a couple of up and coming artistes from Enugu State and Republic of Benin and leading all to the memorable night was a beautiful rendition of national anthem by Darlene Benson.
The thick humour merchant, Lepacious Bose, stole the night with rib-cracking jokes that got all reeling on the floor with laughter.
