It is arguably the wedding of the year yet in Nigeria and even days after, it is still setting tongues talking and eyes popping at the splendour that characterized it. There are very few weddings tales that have timeless effects on people and this one aptly belongs to that class.
Chief Oscar Ibru, the first son of the head of the Ibru clan, Olorogun Michael Ibru, on Saturday, August 18th 2012, gave  his daughter’s hand, Makashe in marriage to Kayode Awogboro. From the wedding to the reception, everything was just exquisite and guests had plenty to eat and drink.
Talking about eating and drinking, the wedding cake informationnigeria.org gathered, is never before seen. It looked like a gigantic monument which sent guests popping their eyes in disbelief and awe. Â The cake looked beautiful in bright pink and purple colours and had an ice sculpture of a polo player and his bride sitting on a horse at the top.
Now, tell me, which Nigerian wedding have you ever seen the cake this big?
THAT IS NOT A CAKE!!!!!!
