The United States Embassy in Nigeria has sent an emergency message to citizens, reminding them to be alert for unrest, attacks, reports say.
Although the message offers no specifics, it mentioned mobile phone tower attacks.
The US embassy in Nigeria had always offered security advice and alert to Nigeria, most of which were hardly adhered to in the past.

As the unrest in the country heightens, security operatives are expected to be alert and consider the US Embassy’s message.
Several foreign media has tagged the week a ‘bloody week’ for Nigeria following several attacks in Northern Nigeria that has led to the loss of many lives.
