In an unprecedented move, first lady of Mavin Records, Tiwa Savage, brought her mother as her date to the recently held Channel O Music Video Awards in South Africa.
Although she didn’t win an award in her own category, she won ‘The Most Gifted R&B Music Video Of The Year’ award with Flavour for their ‘Oyi’ remix.

Tiwa will be releasing her sophomore album in the first quarter of 2013 after enjoying success with her previously released singles.
