ANC Leadership Election: S/African President Coasts To Victory

President Jacob Zuma of South Africa has been re-elected president of the  African National Congress (ANC).

Zuma defeated his Deputy, Kgalema Motlanthe in a landslide victory on Tuesday at the National Elective Congress in Magangung.

He secured 2,984 votes while Motlanthe got 991 votes.

There are 4,500 voting delegates, out of which a total of 3,977 was valid votes cast.
