Igbo socio-cultural organisation, Ohanaeze Ndigbo weekend warned that any attempt to deprive South East geopolitical zone of its only opportunity to rule after Jonathan’s tenure as president would be resisted, saying that it is high time the Igbo nation ruled Nigeria.
This came following a recent statement by the former Governor of old Anambra State, Dr. Chukwuemeka Ezeife, who insisted that it was the turn of Ndigbo to produce the president of country come 2015, urging the people to work hard to make the dream a reality.
Addressing newsmen at a press briefing in Lagos, the newly elected National Secretary of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Prince Osita Oganah, declared that Igbo Presidency was not negotiable and, therefore, called on the Igbos to begin to make preparations ahead of 2015.
