As Nigerians wait with bated breathe to know the fate of injured strikers Emmanuel Emenike and Victor Moses for Sunday’s AFCON final, coach Stephen Keshi has said he will wait on the duo till the last minute.
Nigeria face against Burkina Faso for the continental title in Johannesburg and are sweating over the fitness of the two forwards, who between them have accounted for six of the team’s 10 goals at this tournament.
“I will wait till the last minute and by Sunday we will know whether the boys will play or not, any other opinion is unacceptable,” maintained Keshi.
“I can understand the apprehension of the public over the two players, but we must be a little patient because I know that the two of them want to play in the final and the medical team is working round the clock.”
Information Nigeria gathered that Spartak Moscow striker Emenike suffered a hamstring injury which could keep him out of action for at least two weeks.
It is also speculated that Keshi could take a big gamble on his power playing forward who has been clinical in front of goal throughout the tournament.
dey shud js chill for the trophy, cus we need it…
Why wait for a miracle, Keshi should call T.B. Joshua to heal him. After all Joshua is reponsible for all the matches won by Nigeria. Tomorrow the players should simply do nothing and win but take note that, that match is 50/50 it can go either way.
Dont wait for any miracle. Go to T.B. Joshua who has been wining matches for Nigeria. In fact they should fly Joshua to S.A. Now. But beware of Burkina Faso.
