After months of speculations and absence from his duty post as Governor of Enugu State, Sullivan Chime has resurfaced in the country as he was spotted at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport, Abuja on Thursday morning.
Chime who was driven straight to the Enugu Governor’s Lodge in Abuja at the time of filing this report, was reportedly admitted in a London hospital for an undisclosed ailment which generated a lot of buzz within and outside Enugu State.
Information Nigeria recalls that Governor Godswill Akpabio of Akwa Ibom state had said, authoritatively in Lagos on Friday, that Chime would return home within 10 days.
Chime was last seen in public four months ago and as fears heightened over his where abouts and condition, the Enugu state government insisted he was on vacation and would soon return home even as they never admitted that he was sick or admitted.
