The wedding of the year between Tuface and Annie Idibia has come and gone but the dust it has raised in public discussions is yet to abate.
One of such controversies is the donation of a Toyota Prado SUV and recently, a 2013 Chevy Corvette Coupe Sports car.
But the man in the eye of the storm, Tuface, has responded to his critics saying, “I don’t feel strangely for getting support for our wedding. I am just happy and that is the most important thing.”
On the role of Governor Godswill Akpabio in his wedding, 2Baba as he is fondly called said: “My wife is from Akwa Ibom State and the governor of the state is like a father to her.
“The governor said he was doing all these because he loves his daughter and I don’t think I should feel anyhow because a father is showering his daughter blessings. I don’t believe anybody should feel anyhow, it is a celebration mood, so everybody should be happy,” Tuface added.
People seem to exaggerate matters in Nigeria. So, not suprised. But can we please divert these gifts away from entertainment a little? If a potential ground-breaking invention/software was to be launched, how many people in this country will come to fund d development?

@ Olumide- invention/innovation is too much, recently a Nigerian girl graduated as d best student @ d university of Ghana,legon w 16 awards, till now not even d ambassador to Ghana or minister of education has any knowledge of such fit. But let any of this so called entertainer has a wound, GEJ will personally send him/her a precious gift. I think these guys(musicians & actors) need to b probe, how much money do they make from their jamboree compared to how much they r spending uselessly.
