The student repeated the same threat in Hausa, affirming that they were coming for the teacher’s funeral.

The eye witness who pleaded not to be mentioned in print disclosed that the school had expelled the student, but that he was not sure whether the matter will end at the expulsion of the student as the teacher was also said to have told some of her confidants that, she is indeed leaving the state as a result of the threat.

  1. Why do we take serious things for granted? That child should have been taken into police custody and he should have been interrogated to know what he meant by those words because that does not look like an empty threat

  2. How can a student harass a teacher with such comments and only for the media to say ,they don’t know what will happen to the student to be expelled or otherwise. Rather than saying he was reported to a police station.

  3. You do not need to blame the school authority for being afraid. The police with all their weapons are killed like chicken almost on daily basis there. How much more ordinary civillian. I think there’s a state of anarchy in the state. And in every state of anarchy, the authorities simply become powerless.
