Famous and sexy looking Hollywood actress Catherine Zeta-Jones has checked into a treatment center to treat her bipolar disorder.
The 43-year-old actress is expected to complete a 30-day programme in order to “manage her health”.
A statement released by her publicist Sarah Fuller said: “Catherine has pro-actively checked into a healthcare facility. Previously Catherine has said that she is committed to periodic care in order to manage her health in an optimum manner.”
This isn’t the first time Catherine has sought help on the issue, she consulted a doctor previously in 2011 when she was suffering from a serious bout of depression before publicly revealing she was bipolar in 2012.
The Welsh beauty – who is married to actor Michael Douglas – has since spoken of her regret at her condition becoming common knowledge.
In an interview with Good Morning America in December 2012 she hit out after being probed about her condition.
She said: “You know what? I’m sick of talking about it because I never wanted to be the poster child for this. I never wanted this to come out publicly. It came out.
“I dealt with it in the best way I could and that was just saying that, ‘Look, hey, I’m bipolar’. Everyone has things going on and we’re doing the best we can. We can’t jump from the rooftops shouting about, ‘I have this, look at me, victim’ – no.
“We all have issues in life and I’m really happy I have great friends, great support, and that’s all I can do.”
