Habib Rabiu of King’s College emerged winner of the 1st annual City of Lagos monopoly tournament held on Friday at the Terra Kulture, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The Managing Director of Stanbic IBTC Plc Sola David Borha presented Habib with a sum of N1 million for emerging winner of the maiden monopoly tournament.
The tournament was used as a tool to present some basic lessons in resource management by educating participating students about the importance of financial literacy and the encouragement of personal financial responsibility from an early age.
Present at the event were students, teachers, Governor of central Bank Sanusi Lamido, and some other guests.
City of Lagos monopoly tournament was organised by Bestman Games, the Authorised Distributor of customised edition of Monopoly in Africa with the support from Lagos State Government, First Bank of Nigeria Plc, GTBank Plc and Stanbic IBTC Pensions Managers Limited.
