Bayern Leverkusen forward Andre Schurle’s move to the West London outfit, Chelsea FC, should finally be concluded next week.

Before the arrival of Jose Mourinho, the move for the German forward to make a £20m switch to Stamford Bridge had been in motion, but the arrival of the Portuguese coach was reported to have delayed the agreement, as he wants to keep young winger Kevin De Bruyne.

Leverkusen’s general manager, Rudi Voller, just last week denied reports that an agreement had been reached, despite been spotted with Mourinho and Schurrle during Michael Ballack’s testimonial.

But the 22-year-old forward’s agent Ingo Haspel has said the prolonged talk between the two clubs will be concluded next week.

“In the coming days I expect that everything is in place and finally the agreement between the parties will be concluded,” Haspel said.

The Blues also announced they’ve reached an agreement with the Bundesliga side Leverkusen.

The Andre Schurrrle’s deal is “subjected to the completion of legal documentation and related matters, including personal terms and passing a medical,” Chelsea FC said.

Schurrle was on target for Leverkusen eleven times last season, while on international duties, he has scored seven times in 24 appearances for Germany.
