Wolves’ Right-Back, Oboh, Dies in a Car Accident.

Solomon Oboh, Warri Wolves right-back, has passed on after a motor accident in Ughelli, Delta State on Sunday.

The accident took place in Agbarho town, two kilometers away from Warri and supersport.com reports that it involved an 18-seater bus.

The player was returning from a child’s dedication ceremony after being notified of his exclusion from his team’s squad that defeated 3SC 2-1 in a Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) match at the Warri City stadium on Sunday.

The spokesman of Warri Wolves, Moses Etu, confirmed the death as an unfortunate incident.

“It’s true, Solomon passed on in an accident yesterday night. It is an unfortunate incident which Warri Wolves is very sad about,” Etu confirmed to supersport.com Monday morning.

Oboh was born on September 13, 1989, played for Bisalo FC of Benin, Paulson FC and Delta United.

The right-back, who can play as a central midfielder joined Warri Wolves from Delta United and made just one league appearance this season in Wolves 1-1 draw with Kaduna United on April 25.
