Aide-De-Camp to recuperating Governor Danbaba Suntai of Taraba State, Mr Illiya Dasat, is back in the country, the state’s Commissioner of Information, Culture and Tourism, Mr Emmaneul Bello, has said.
According to a press statement signed by Mr. Bello and made available to Journalists, Mr. Dasat returned to the country via the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja on Thursday aboard a Lufthansa plane at 3:00 pm.
The statement noted that Mr. Dasat, who was treated and discharged from a German hospital, was on arrival at the airport, received by family members.
The statement also added that Gov. Suntai’s ADC letter disclosed that he and the other occupants of the ill-fated plane which crashed on October 25th 2012, in Yola, are beneficiaries of God’s mercies.
The statement also affirmed that Dasat said he has been in constant touch with his boss – Suntai – and disclosed that the governor is recuperating fast and would soon be back in the country to continue the business of governance.
Meanwhile, the ADC, according to the statement, has appealed to be allowed to spend time with his family before rejoining his boss in New York, United States.
