President Goodluck Jonathan on Saturday said that it was with sadness that he received news of the death of Nigerian businessman and politician, Alhaji Saleh Mohammed Jambo in Abuja.
In a statement signed by his special adviser on media and publicity, Dr Reuben Abati, the president prayed Almighty Allah to receive Alhaji Saleh Jambo’s soul and grant him eternal rest in Paradise.
Abati noted: “On behalf of himself, the federal government and people of Nigeria, President Jonathan extends sincere condolences to Alhaji Saleh Jambo’s family, as well as his friends, colleagues and political associates across the country.
“The President joins them in mourning the very distinguished entrepreneur and political leader who made significant contributions to the economic and political development of his community and country.”
Information Nigeria reports that Alhaji Jambo was a captain of the oil industry and owner of Northeast Petroleum Limited.
