LATE Stephen Edward Murray-Bruce of the famous Murray-Bruce dynasty who died 3rd of September this year has been laid to rest.
The final journey home for the departed Murray-Bruce began yesterday at St. Jude Catholic Church, Rumuaholu, Port Harcourt where Francis Murray-Bruce and arrowheads of the Silverbird Group, Ben Murray-Bruce and younger brother, Guy lead the family and well wishers for requiem mass.
Guests at the event include former minister, Graham Douglas and Vanguard Publisher Sam Amuka who had been part of the funeral activities since the day before where a Service of Songs was held for the Late Murray Bruce at the Forces Avenue residence of Francis Murray-Bruce.
The funeral train proceeded to the Port Harcourt Cemetery Town where remains of Stephen Murray-Bruce were interned before guests were treated to a reception back at the home of Francis Murray-Bruce. Born 1939, Stephen Edward Murray-Bruce is survived by a wife, children, siblings and extended relatives of the Murray-Bruce family including being uncle to Flytime Promotions CEO, Cecil Hammond.
