The North Central Zonal executive committee of the People Democratic Party (PDP) has appealed to aggrieved leaders and stakeholders of the party in the zone to sheathe their swords and embrace the ongoing reconciliation process in the party.
In a statement signed by its zonal secretary, Johnson Pa’ah and national vice chairman, Alh. Yusuf Ayitogo, the PDP North Central exco stressed the need for all aggrieved members to be reconciled with the party to ensure stability.
The exco also reiterated the zone’s unflinching support of the National Working Committee, NWC, of the party under the leadership of Alhaji Bamanga Tukur as well as pledged its loyalty to President Goodluck Jonathan.
It also urged members of the party to avoid making inflammatory remarks that are capable of throwing the ruling party into further crises.
