SHOCK As Nigeria Drops To 36th Position In Latest FIFA Rankings

Nigeria moved down three places to 36th in the latest FIFA World rankings with 710 points.

However, Nigeria still occupies the fourth place among the top 5 ranked nations in Africa.

Ivory Coast remains the highest ranked team in Africa and 17th in the world on 918 points.

Ghana comes second in Africa and 24th in the world with 849 points, while Algeria are third in Africa and 26th in the world on 800 points.

Spain head the global list, ahead of Germany, Argentina, Colombia and Portugal.

  1. Fifa should go and sleep. The time has come for their system of things to be reviewed. 5 out 9 south american countries will go to world cup while 5 out of 52 african countries go to world cup. Almost half of the world cup participants are from europe, these are all biases and need to be addressed. With this their ranking system, I dont think we will be anywhere even if we win the world cup…..FIFA must address this problem
