Undefeated Nigerian boxer, Lateef ‘power’ Kayode, finished off his Friday night’s heavyweight debut on a winning note to take his record to 19-0, 15 KOs.
The 30-year-old, from Lagos, Nigeria, originally trained by legendary Freddie Roach, scored a second round TKO over American journeyman Travis Fulton (21-34, 20KOs) at the Chumash Casino in Santa Ynez, California.
Kayode, announced he will begin campaigning in the heavyweight division in October, when he signed a promotional contract with Greh Cohen Promotions, who has a long history of success working with Nigerian heavyweights, including: Samuel Peter and Ike Ibeabuchi.
