Baker Hughes Incorporated (BHI) offers a challenging career opportunity for a Geoscientist to be part of our Reservoir Development team in West Africa.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Processing and management of borehole seismic projects including Velocity surveys, Zero Offset VSPs, Offset VSPs, Walkaway VSPs
- Working either individually or as part of a team with larger projects
- Participation in the presentation of results to the customer
- The delivery of projects to a deadline. The primary objective of VSFusion is to help clients transform data into informed business decisions that maximize asset value
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- BSc in Geophysics / Geoscience or related discipline
- Understanding of seismic data or other signal processing
- General knowledge of the oil and gas exploration and production industry
- Good computer literacy and readiness for multidisciplinary training is essential
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Excellent technical and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Supportive and collaborative in a team environment
- Able to work independently (with a minimum of direct supervision) when necessary
- Able to work under pressure
