Fegor Ogude Joins Russian Club Amkar Perm.

Super Eagles midfielder Fegor Ogude has expressed delights about his move to Russian side Amkar Perm.

Ogude completed the signing of a year and half deal with the Russian Premier League outfit on Monday evening after completing his medicals.

“I have signed a deal with Amkar,” the former Valerenga of Norway player told MTNFootball.com. “I signed a four and half deal.

“I am happy with this and I will do my best for the team. I can’t wait to get down to business here. I have been assigned jersey number 87.”

“I will be traveling with my team to Turkey Tuesday for preparation for the resumption of the league.”

The midfielder, who has ran out of favour since featuring for the African champions in last year’s cup of nations is believed to now stand a better chance to make Coach Stephen Keshi’s squad for the 2014 Fifa World Cup in Brazil.

Amkar Perm are seventh on the Russian League standings with 30 points from 19 matches.
