Eagles to Recall, IK Uche, Haruna.

Dynamo Kiev midfielder Lukman Haruna and Villareal striker Ikechukwu Uche are to be recalled back to the Super Eagles squad before the kick-off of the 2014 World Cup, officials have revealed.

IK Uche is currently the top goalscorer at La Liga outfit Villareal with 12 goals while Haruna has impressed at his Ukrainian club, following his recent hiatus due to injury.

‘And both players could well get their chance as early as next month’s pre-World Cup friendly against Mexico in the USA,” reports MTNFootball.com.

Haruna last featured for the Super Eagles during the 2010 Fifa World Cup while Uche has not played for the side since replacing the injured Emmanuel Emenike in the final of the 2013 African Cup of Nations (Afcon), both in South Africa.

Keshi had earlier revealed his willingness to invite competent Nigerian players to the camp. It is believed the Nigerian head coach will extend his invitation to several others who have been impressive in their various clubs across Europe.

The Eagles training camp resumes by the end of next month.
