Kim and Kanye have decided to move up their Wedding Date to May from July

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian have moved up their wedding date from July to May, according to US Weekly.

There are reports that the couple have decided to move up their wedding date to May. The couple had originally planned to hold their Paris nuptials in July, but the gossip site reports that the powerful pair have opted to get married two months earlier.

According to a source, Kardashian, 33, and West, 36, are planning “lots of events leading up to the big day” for their wedding guests.

As for 8-month-old daughter North West, another source says that she “will have a large role in the wedding.”

As rumors continue to swirl about the highly anticipated nuptials, what’s known for sure is that the wedding will take place in The City of Lights. The reality star revealed the location during during a live show in January.

“I’m not telling where or the date, but I think it’s kind of obvious it’s in Paris,” Kardashian told the talk show host.

“It’s our second home,” she added. “We spend so much time there, we have an apartment there. We really love it.”

As for what each star is in charge of planning, Kim says that “we’re kind of taking different roles. He’ll take care of the music, and I’ll take care of the seating chart. We’re making it really easy on each other.”

E!, the network that airs her hit show “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” is reportedly footing the bill for the multimillion dollar ceremony, and has allegedly received West’s consent to televise it.
