35 players have succeeded in the Flying Eagles intensive two-week open screening.
Not less than 1500 players entered for the open camp, which took place at the FIFA Technical Center in Abuja.
The second phase of the training camp begins on Monday in Abuja as preparations for the the 2015 African Youth Championship qualifier heightens.
The 35 picks from the open trials will be joined by 20 others from the victorious U-17 team last year.
Flying Eagles coach, Manu Garba, said: “We expect a much fiercer competition in the second phase and players need to be more consistent to survive then.”
