Peter Osaze Odemwingie has expressed satisfaction with he and his teammates’ performance in Stoke City’s 1-0 over Hull City on Saturday.
The Nigeria international’s fourth successive goal in three successive Barclay’s Premier League matches helped Stoke City claim a fourth league win in five outings.
“I am very pleased, maybe not with the performance but we dug deep. We didn’t create enough in the first half but we knew we had to be committed today,” The 32-year-old forward said after the match.
Odemwingie broke the deadlock two minutes after the hour mark, when he raced straight through the away team half to thump in a low shot
after Hull’s Ahmed Elmohamady sloppily conceded possession to him.
He has now scored five times since joining the Potters from Cardiff City in January.
“I am enjoying my football here and my team-mates are brilliant with me. We hope to continue that” Odemwingie added.
