Police Detain Late Yakowa’s Media Aide For Circulating Photos Of Southern Kaduna Attacks

policeThe Kaduna State Police Command on Thursday detained Mr. Reuben Buhari, a former Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the late Governor Patrick Yakowa, for allegedly publishing disturbing photographs of victims of the recent attack on Moro Chiefdom, Kaura LGA by suspected Fulani herdsmen.

It would be recalled that at least 100 persons, including women and children, were gruesomely murdered by the rampaging Fulani herdsmen.

It was learnt that Buhari has been cooling his heels at the command headquarters since 9am when he honoured the invitation by the police.

Mr. Reuben Buhari has been released by the police after being detained for nearly six hours.

Buhari, according to LEADERSHIP newspaper, was released around 2:30 pm after he was interrogated by the state police commissioner, Mr. Olufemi Adenaike.
