Juan Martin del Potro could be ruled out of tennis action for the rest of the season as he is set to undergo a second wrist operation in four years.
The Argentine world number eight will undergo surgery on his left wrist on Monday after pulling out of the Sony Open on Wednesday.
The 25-year-old had surgery on his right wrist in May 2010 and was sidelined for eight months.
