Chairman of the Forum for the Protection and Defence of the Integrity of Northern Elders, Bala Ibn Na’Allah, has urged former Military President, Gen. Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida (retd) and other Northern Elders, against responding to utterances made by ex-Niger Delta militant, Mujaheed Asari Dokubo
Na’Allah, in a statement made available to journalists yesterday in Birnin Kebbi, the Kebbi State capital, advised the northern elders and IBB against dignifying Asari’s outbursts with their responses.
“This is a person who under an ideal and civilized society does not even deserve to circulate among civilized society, talk less of being recognized by a responsible citizen in the person of Gen. Ibrahim Babangida or any other notable northern elder.
“If the elders of the area where he comes from who are well known for their high degree of moral decorum have suddenly become incapable of bringing him to order, I assure you we would do that on their behalf.
“There’s not a single criminal group that possess the monopoly of the management and execution of violence and rascality”, he said.
