The new Executive Committee of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) will host top notches of Corporate Nigeria to a grand ball at the Eko Hotel and Suites in Lagos on Friday.
New NFF President Amaju Pinnick has since inception of office disclosed- amongst others- plans to strengthen the federation’s ties with corporate bodies, and has now moved to “sell” the new Nigeria football agenda to prospective sponsors.
“It is a special event, at which we want to sell our new direction to the top-of-the-range family of Corporate Nigeria. We are also going to sell transparency, accountability and probity and tell them that we have come with a totally different way of doing things.
“When corporate organizations know that their money will be put to judicious use, they are keen to partner with you.”
Sports Minister, Tammy Danagogo, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Sports, Senator Adamu Gumba and Chairman House Committee on Sports, Hon. Godfrey Gaiya will team up with the NFF team to make their case to the prospective investors.
The NFF team, led by Pinnick, also includes First Vice President Seyi Akinwunmi, Chairman of the Marketing, Sponsorship and Television Advisory Committee, High Chief Emeka Inyama, NFF General Secretary, Barr. Musa Amadu, NFF Marketing Consultant, Mike Itemuagbor and Mr. Adama Idris, NFF’s Director of Marketing.
Chairman of Honeywell Group and one-time Chairman of Association of Shareholders of Nigeria, One Otudeko, is among the big names expected.
