RIGGING/LIFTINGING OPERATIONS REFERENT, ASSESSOR & TRAINER

As Rigging/Lifting Operations Referent Assessor &Trainer, you have:
- OPITO approved Rigger Competence Stage 3/4 Certificate
- OPITO approved Competence Assessor Award
- Experience of subsea operations and/or installations on IMR and/or construction vessels as Deck Foreman or Shift Supervisor
- Previous experience in training and development of training plan
Missions:
- Act as Bourbon’s Referent Person for Lifting Operations for members or staff involved in rigging/lifting operations; define the policies, guidelines and procedures to be implemented.
- Define and develop the training plan and assessment tools for Deck Foreman & Rigger.
- Develop Bourbon specific training courses for personnel of all affiliates involved in rigging operations (riggers, AB’s, crane operators, deck foremen…) to meet with recognised standards and Clients’.
- Conduct and supervise the above mentioned training courses both offshore and onshore.
- Assess recurrently the Deck Foreman on board and validate the assessment of the Riggers done by the Deck Foreman.
- Provide support to all affiliates for issues regarding rigging operations (procedures, equipment, training, risk assessment,lifting plans, etc.).
- Provide support when required for recruitment of Rigging personnel.
- Audit by regular monitoring the rigging equipment on board and that rigging procedures are being properly implemented.
- Assist HSE personnel in reporting and investigating on non-conformities and incidents regarding rigging operations.
- Participate to critical lift operations.
- Animate TBT, review and improve JSA, risk assessment and lifting plan.
- Provide assistance for evaluating lifting tackle and lifting equipment during commissioning.
