Tennis: Halep Ends Ties With Belgian Coach Fissette

Romanian tennis player Simona Halep has announced she has ended her cooperation with Belgian coach Wim Fissette.

The world No. 3 reached the finals of this year’s Roland Garros, the Madrid Open and the WTA Tour Finals in Singapore. She won two WTA tournaments in 2014 in Doha and Bucharest.

“My collaboration with Wim Fissette will come to an end, following a mutual agreement. It was a good and beautiful year. I want to thank him and wish him good luck in the future,” she wrote on her Facebook page.
