A Mexican pilot has been relieved of his duties by his employers after letting a female artiste into the cockpit and allowing her to fly the plane. Daily mail reports.
The singer, Esmeralda Ugalde, 23, and her friend Samadhi Zendejas, 19, an actress, were allowed into the cabin by the captain, which they later posted on twitter.
The pictures revealed that the singer sat at the controls of the plane and even wearing the captain’s hat. The pilot who was flying between Cancun and the capital Mexico City, was later fired by the airline.
The actress had made efforts to defend the captain by saying they only entered the cabin when the plane was on the ground on the said day, but the pilot had admitted that he allowed the ladies in during the flight before her testimony.
