APGA Supporting Jonathan’s Re-election Bid For Continuity – Umeh

National Chairman of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), Chief Victor Umeh wants more than just leading a political party, he is wants to become a Senator. He also said the party has resolved to support President Goodluck Jonathan in the 2015 Presidential election to ensure continuity of the transformation agenda.

Umeh was one of the party members, who were presented with the party’s flag on Saturday in Awka, Anambra State. The flags were presented to the candidates, who would contest on the platform of APGA for the Anambra State House of Assembly and the National Assembly.

Umeh is vying for the Anambra Central Senatorial seat, currently occupied by Sen. Chris Ngige.

He recalled the achievements of the APGA-led government in the state. He therefore urged continued support for the party.

Anambra State Governor Willie Obiano who also spoke at the event, congratulated the successful candidates, stressing that they were the best candidates of the party for 2015 general elections.

The other candidates who were given party flags include Ernest Ndukwe (Anambra South Senatorial zone), Dubem Obaze (Anambra North Senatorial zone) and Chief Godson Ezenagu (Awka North/ South, Anaocha). Mr Dozie Nwankwo and Mrs Tabansi Okoye, also received the party’s flags for Dunukofia/Njikoka and Onitsha North/ South federal constituencies, respectively.
