Kano Pillars Register New Signings For Caf Champions League

Nigerian league champions, Kano Pillars have registered several new signings for next year’s Caf Champions League.

The reigning Glo Premier League champions have been active in the transfer market, beefing up their squad for the 2015 campaign.

According to AfricanFootball.com, Pillars have discussed personal terms with Nasarawa United, winger Tony Edjomareigwe. He will be joined by Olorunleke Ojo of Giwa FC, Gombe United Adamu Mohammed and Abubakar Umar of Enugu Rangers. All aforementioned players have reportedly been registered for the Champions League.

Adamu Mohammed has opted to remain with a top-flight team following the descent of his former club Gombe United this season. The 28-year-old maintained a prolific goal-scoring record during his time with Enugu Rangers and Dolphins before returning to his hometown Pantami Stadium.

The draw for the preliminary rounds of the Champions League comes up on December 22 in Cairo, Egypt.

Pillars and runners-up Enyimba will represent Nigeria in the competition.
