The news came as a shock to most Nigerians but not me. As much as I wanted Tayo to win, I believe Idris was a more entertaining housemate and his charm also played a major role.
After the lengthy 63 days, Idris emerged winner.
“Big Brother Africa – The Hotshots” came to a close yesterday night, 7th December, 2014 after the final eight housemates had spent 63 days in the house.
The host, IK Osakioduwa showed off his stellar dance moves as he made quite an entrance in his ‘suit & bow tie’.
The finale show saw performances from D’banj, then a South African female singer and a surprise comeback performance from ex-housemates.
It was full of a lot of interesting twists and turns.
The Ghana housemate, Mambi and Zimbabwe’s Butterfly were the first to be booted out of ‘The Hotshots’ and Malawi’s Sipe and Zimbabwe’s JJ were next to be evicted.
IK took another bold step to reveal the next line of housemates to be evicted, this hat fell on Nkhlankla and Macky 2.
Then Nigerian rap superstar, M.I Abaga came up to deliver an electrifying performance to his new hit, Bad Belle
This leaves Tanzania’s Idris and Nigeria’s Tayo to face off for the Grand Prize.
In the end, the sexy and handsome Idris, the Tanzanian Hotshots Housemate, took home the whopping prize of $300,000.
