Glo Premier League club Kano Pillars have axed ten players from its squad ahead of the new season.
Fullback Nazifi Ammani, midfielder Bello Komfarmata, striker Kabiru Umar and Kingsley Udoh are among those released from the squad from the squad that clinched a third successive Nigeria league title last year.
Pillars have also beefed up its squad for the forthcoming season, having signed Christian Obiozor from Enugu Rangers, Samuel Tswanya from Bayelsa United and Tony Edjomareigwe from Nasarawa United.
They will lead Nigeria’s charges to the 2015 Caf Champions League alongside Enyimba.
