Milton Keynes Dons midfielder Dele Alli will be sidelined for up to six weeks with an ankle injury.
The teenager, who completed a £5m transfer to Tottenham Hotspur in the mid-season transfer dispensation but was loaned back to the Football League club for the rest of the season, has scored 14 times in 36 games in the Football League this season.
Alli sustained the injury during last week’s 1-0 win over Colchester United. He will be receiving treatment at his parent club Tottenham and may not return to Karl Robinson’s side until late March.
