Al Gharafa have tabled an improved offer for West Bromwich Albion striker Brown Ideye, according to the Daily Mail.
The Qatari club and the ‘Baggies’ were reportedly discussing a £5m plus add-ons move for the 26-year-old, who arrived at the Hawthorns from Ukrainian outfit Dynamo Kiev for a club-record £10m fee last July.
Any hope of a transfer deadline deal understandably depends on manager Tony Pulis’ success at recruiting West Ham striker Carlton Cole or Liverpool’s Rickie Lambert as a replacement.
West Ham however are unwilling to part with Cole without having a replacement after Andy Carroll picked up another injury on Saturday
