Nigeria senior women’s national team will now play their All-Africa Games (AAG) final round qualification match against Mali on Friday, 10 April, officials have confirmed.
The Super Falcons drew the first leg in Bamako 1-1. The aggregate winner of the reverse billed for the National Stadium, Abuja progresses to the Women’s Football Tournament of the AAG.
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has already notified their Malian counterpart about necessary information.
The Confederation of African Football (Caf) has permitted the NFF to host the match within the period of Friday, 10 April- Sunday, 12 April.
Meanwhile, the Falcons’ camp in Abuja has been a beehive of activities following the squad’s return from an election break.
The AAG is scheduled for Congo Brazzaville between 3 and 18 September.
