Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose has described the national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Alhaji Adamu Mu’azu as a disloyal party member for criticizing other members of the party but never did the same with the opponent.
Fayose had alleged that he had evidence that the PDP chairman betrayed his party and worked for All Progressives Congress (APC) during the presidential elections.
Muazu had in a reaction to the allegation mocked the governor on twitter.
Fayose: I have evidence that Muazu worked for APC. We hope it’s not the kind of evidence he once said he had that Buhari was dying?

The embattled chairman who is under pressure to resign with members of his National Working Committe (NWC) had earlier dismissed the allegation, as well as alleged plans to defect to the APC.
The APC has nothing to offer someone like me. I am too principled to betray my party. I have been here since 1999. #AM

Apparently miffed by the mocking tweet by the PDP chairman, Fayose replied with one describing Muazu as a disloyal party member.
Disloyalty: A leader who takes to twitter to slight a party member but never did the same with or to the opponent. God sees our hearts.

He wrote further that PDP will outlast several members of the party. But noted that the legacy of true politics is Service to the People, loyalty to one’s Team and a clear Conscience before God.
“This is not the time for mudslinging but truth is never out of season. PDP Online: be assured that PDP will emerge stronger from all issues,” he tweeted.
Any strong words we have are reserved only for our opponents and only in political season. This is now the time to unite for PDP and Nigeria
