President Muhammadu Buhari has picked from across the States of the Federation, including the Federal Capital Territory, Nigerians who will serve as ministers in his soon-to-be constituted cabinet.
The president had on September 30, sent to the Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki, the first batch of 21 ministerial nominees.
Also, yesterday, the names of the second batch of 16 nominees, which was submitted to Mr. Saraki on Monday, were unveiled.
Meanwhile, the names of ministerial nominees has been reduced by one after President Buhari withdrew the nomination of Ahmed Isa Ibeto as it came to the fore that the former deputy governor and another nominee Abubakar Bawa Bwari, both hailed from Niger State.
When contacted, the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to President Muhammadu Buhari, Mr. Femi Adesina said: “The names of ministerial nominees, the president has sent to the Senate for screening, had no states of origin attached to them. As soon as the president does that, it will be made public”.
