The razzmatazz of the holidays are gradually fading away reality that the new year is underway sets in. After enjoying all the fun that comes with celebrating Christmas and new year, people have to go back to their normal life, work, school, trade and so on. School fees: Nigerian parents know it is the time of the year when they have to pay school fees and considering how high school fees are nowadays, some people are definitely going to loose sleep over it. It is even worse given that parents would have spent a whole lot to during the festive season.

Marriage: The only prayer point on the lips of those unmarried girls this new year is “O God, do not let this year pass me by”. Single ladies, especially those already in their 30s want nothing more than to find themselves a husband, whether he is Mr. Right or Mr. Left.

Work: Now that the holidays are over, it is time to get back to work. The 8 hours at work, the traffic workers have to endure to and fro work, the waking up early and every other thing that pertains to work is back.

Rent: Some people would have to renew their rent in the first quarter of the year. Come out of making expenses, this is not the easiest of things to delve into.

Dreams: The best part of the new year for most people is the renewed zest to pursue their dreams. So a lot of Nigerians are worried about how to bring their dreams to realization this year.
