Lagos—Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) yesterday arrested Ijeoma Ojukwu, a niece to late politician, Chief Odumegwu Ojukwu and three others just as the anti-graft agency quizzed one of its staff over the importation of 2.24 kilogrammes of cocaine from Brazil.

Metuh: PDP Reps issue 48-hour ultimatum to EFCC

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) caucus in the House of Representatives on Tuesday issued a 48-hour ultimatum to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to release the detained National Public-ity Secretary of the party, Olisah Metuh, accused of money laundering. Also, the acting National Chairman of the PDP, Prince Uche Secondus, on Tuesday, said there was never a time that the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the party advised former President Goodluck Jonathan to speak on the ongoing investigation on the $2.1 billion arms’ deal scandal.
